Purpose of the job
To develop academic material and lecture in allocated subjects for own and other programmes and to execute appropriate community projects

Minimum salary scale (Total Cost to Company):
R 777 297 per annum (2026 salary scales to be confirmed)

Minimum Qualification/ Knowledge and/or Experience
  • A relevant Master's-level degree (i.e. MTech / Masters / NQF 9 or equivalent) AND Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) registered with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) (SA).
OR
A relevant Honours level degree (i.e. Post Graduate Diploma / NQF 8 or equivalent) AND Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) registered with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) (SA).
  • At least two years’ teaching/ lecturing/ industry experience relevant to the subject field(s).
Desired Qualification, Knowledge and/or Experience
  • Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) (SA).
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
  • Proficient in Arbutus Analytics.
  • In case of Master’s degree, evidence of progress towards a Doctorate degree.
  • In case of Honour’s degree, evidence of progress towards a Master’s degree
  • Any acknowledged publication, research, innovation or creative output
